Everything that governs your use of the BYDL app, written to be read rather than skipped.

Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated 31 July 2026

This is the End User Licence Agreement between you and BYDL ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the BYDL app you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not use the app.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use BYDL on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms, or on any Android device via Google Play. You may not rent, lease, sell, redistribute or sublicense the app.

2. What BYDL does

BYDL is a budgeting and goal-planning tool. You describe the life you are working toward. We estimate what it would cost each month in the place you chose, set a monthly saving target, and show steps toward it. You can log what you save and what you spend.

Every figure in BYDL is an estimate. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, immigration or relocation advice. See the Financial Disclaimer.

3. Who can use it

Anyone may use BYDL. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must set the app up with you and agrees to these Terms on your behalf; see our Children's Privacy notice for what this changes. Only an adult may buy a subscription.

4. What you may not do

5. Your content

Your answers, logs and lists stay yours. BYDL has no user accounts and does not store this information on our servers between sessions — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is processed and for how long.

6. Artificial intelligence

Parts of BYDL use AI models to write estimates and plans. AI output can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Check anything important before acting on it.

7. Subscriptions

Premium is sold through the App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal and refunds are handled by them under their terms. Our Subscription Terms set out price, length and how to cancel.

8. Third-party terms

Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the app. They have no obligation to provide support. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, who may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Our rights

The app, its name, design, text and code belong to us and our licensors. Third-party claims about the app — including intellectual property claims — are our responsibility, not Apple's or Google's.

10. Ending it

You may stop using BYDL at any time by deleting the app. BYDL has no user accounts to close; any active subscription must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play (see Subscription Terms).

11. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that estimates will match real prices.

12. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost savings, or decisions you make based on the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived.

13. Export and legal compliance

You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or listed as a prohibited or restricted party.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

15. Law and contact

Governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. Contact: hello@bydl.app

Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 July 2026

This explains what BYDL collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller. Contact: privacy@bydl.app.

1. What we collect

BYDL has no user accounts, sign-in or profile — we do not collect your email address, phone number or any Apple/Google account identifier.

2. Financial information

Income, savings and spending figures are financial data. We do not encrypt this data on your device; we never sell it or share it with advertisers. You can skip the income question and still use the app.

3. Why we use it

4. Artificial intelligence

To create your estimate and plan we send your first name and answers as text to an AI provider (Anthropic) to personalise your plan (for example, its title). We do not send your email or account identifier. Under our agreement the provider processes it to return a result and does not use it to train models.

5. Who else sees it

We do not sell or share personal data for advertising. BYDL contains no third-party ad SDKs and no tracking across other apps or websites.

6. Transfers

Where data leaves the EEA or the UK — for example to our US-based hosting or AI provider — we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and send only what the service needs.

7. How long we keep it

We do not have user accounts, so there is no account data to retain. Your plan answers are processed to generate your estimate and are not stored afterwards — nothing persists on our server past that single request. Invoice records from purchases, once made, are kept for 10 years where tax law requires.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Türkiye's KVKK and similar laws you may ask to see, correct, delete, limit, object to, or port your data. Email privacy@bydl.app; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. United States

We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

10. Children

See our separate Children's Privacy notice for how we handle users under 13 and under 16.

11. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Because plan answers are not stored on our server, there is no copy of them at rest to protect. If a breach affects you we will notify you as the law requires.

12. Changes

We post any new version here and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Children's Privacy

Last updated 31 July 2026

BYDL is open to people of any age, but the rules change for younger users. This notice explains how.

If you are under 13

Before you continue past the age question, the app asks you to hand the phone to a parent or guardian and asks them to confirm.

For users under 13 we do the following, in line with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Article 8 of the GDPR:

A parent or guardian may email privacy@bydl.app at any time with questions or to withdraw consent. As explained in the Privacy Policy, BYDL has no accounts and does not store plan answers on our server, so there is no stored record to delete on request — a plan simply stops being generated if consent is withdrawn.

If you are 13 to 15

In countries where the digital age of consent is 16 (much of the EEA), a parent or guardian must confirm before we process your data. Purchases are not available.

If you are 16 or 17

You can use all features except buying a subscription, which requires an adult.

Verification

The in-app check is a simple adult-presence question. It is not proof of identity. Parents remain responsible for supervising their child's use of the app and their device's purchase settings.

Reporting

If you believe a child has used BYDL in a way that concerns you, email privacy@bydl.app with what you observed and we will look into it.

Subscription Terms

What Premium includes

Title, length and price

The "$103.48" shown beside the yearly plan is the cost of 52 weeks at the weekly price. It is a comparison between our own plans, not a former price of the yearly plan.

Prices are in US dollars and vary by country with local pricing and tax. The exact charge is always shown by the store before you confirm.

Payment and renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account on confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the standard price unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage subscriptions and switch off auto-renew in your store account settings after purchase.

How to cancel

iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → BYDL → Cancel subscription.
Android: Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → BYDL → Cancel.

Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep Premium until the end of the period already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Free trials and unused time

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription during the trial.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. In the EU and UK you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases; ask the store, and contact support@bydl.app if they cannot help.

Free plan

Without Premium you can build one plan, see its monthly total, set a target, and use the daily log and spending tracker for free, with no time limit.

Restoring

Already paid? Use Restore purchases in Settings to bring Premium back on a new device.

Financial Disclaimer

Last updated 31 July 2026

These are estimates

Every number in BYDL is an estimate produced from the answers you gave. It is not a quote, an offer, a valuation or a promise. Real rents, cars, insurance, fees, taxes and daily costs vary by city, by street, by season and by person.

Not financial advice

BYDL is not a financial adviser, mortgage broker, tax adviser, immigration adviser or relocation agent, and is not regulated as one. Nothing in the app is a personal recommendation to save, spend, borrow, invest, move country, change job or buy anything.

Before you act

Speak to a qualified professional in the country concerned before any decision affecting your money, your home, your visa status or your family. Check current prices yourself with local sources.

AI limits

Parts of the app use AI. AI can be confidently wrong, use out-of-date prices, or miss local rules and taxes. Treat every figure as a starting point for your own research.

No guarantee of results

The plans in BYDL describe one possible route. Following them does not guarantee you will reach the goal, reach it in that time, or reach it at all.

Your responsibility

Decisions you make after using BYDL are yours. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for financial loss arising from reliance on estimates or plans in the app.
